TSU-CCS CYBERSQUAD garnered 2nd place in the HackforGov: CERT-PH Cyber Challenge 2019 Capture-the-Flag Competition
Four students of the Tarlac State University-College of Computer Studies have brought home the 2nd place in the HackforGov: CERT-PH Cyber Challenge 2019 Capture-the-Flag Competition held last August 9, 2019 at Robbinsdale Hotel, Quezon City.
The competition was launched and spearheaded by the DICT in partnership with CERT-PH to raise awareness on the importance of cybersecurity and to immerse students on the security techniques used in the cyberspace.
The team is composed of three BS Computer Science students – Carl Joshua Biag, Francis Miguel Herlaban, Ryan Santillana and one BS Information Technology student, Nomar Lapitan. Kudos, CCS Red Hawks!
